What to Bring:

·         Sunscreen, hat, golf balls for play, gloves (more than one recommended)

·         Money (money needed for snacks at hotel, movies, souveniers, etc.  $50 recommended min)

·         Swimsuit

·         Golf appropriate clothes, collared shirts, shorts okay, sleepwear, extra shorts/tshirts; bath towel; sleeping bag or sheets and blanket; pillow; soap; shampoo

Things to do before coming to Arizona:

·         HYDRATE!!!  Drink water, gatorade, diluted fruit juices before you come to camp!!  It will be hot and we will be constantly reminding you to drink fluids and wear a hat and sunscreen.

When should I arrive if I am driving?

Ideal time is between 3-5pm on the first day of camp.  You should bring all luggage and golf clubs to the Hobbs House Golf Facility.  It is located on the west end of the driving range at Karsten Golf Course.  A map can be found on the website.  You must enter from Rural Road and 6^th street, turn east on 6^th street and make an immediate left (north), drive approximately 200 yards to a gray block wall and green iron gate.  This is the entrance to the golf facility. 

What should I do if I am flying?

We have your arrival information (please fax to Golf Camp at 480-965-7398 as soon as you know your arrival information) and anASU Camp Counselor will be wearing a Golf ASU Tshirt and he will look for you at YOUR baggage claim carousel.  Collect your luggage and stay at YOUR baggage claim carousel.  A van driven by a coach will pick you up and take you to the dorm to check in and give you time to change clothes if necessary and then will transport you to the golf course.

When should my parents/designated person pick me up from camp and where?

The last day of camp consists of a final golf tournament and Awards Ceremony which take place on the patio at Karsten Golf Course.  Parents are welcome to go out on the course to watch the tournament but will need to check in the golf shop first.  Carts may be available.  The tournament ends between 11:30 and noon.  Parents are invited to stay for lunch and awards following play…parents must pay for their lunch which is payable to the servers.
